Day 23-25

Mauritius - Belle Mare

semi-overcast 28 °C

We've spent the last three days walking along the coast, reading, eating and sleeping.

The temperatures are in the high 20s so it feels a lot cooler than the other countries we've visited - the sea is also quite cool compared to the warm waters of the Seychelles.
We had quite a lot of rain on the third day, although we still managed to walk to the local village for lunch.

The Palmeraie is very nice, particularly the food. The buildings have a Moroccan feel to them, lots of red/earthly colours, archways and lanterns.
